Hey everyone! Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I’m Becca. I’ve been vegetarian for 13 years now, and have always enjoyed cooking and baking. My obsession with the Food Network started when I was in high school, where I would watch Rachael Ray’s 30-Minute Meals after school and various sports practices. I still love all of her recipes, and I learned so many basics about being a home cook from her.
Through living on my own and then getting married, this love for cooking has grown exponentially in the last few years. I hope to use this site to share some of my favorite tried-and-true recipes with you! Everything you find here is fully vegetarian, and some recipes are vegan-friendly or gluten-free as well.
Like many, I usually browse the web for inspiration for new recipes to try, but end up having to make a few tweaks here and there in order to make it veggie-friendly… and fit my budget! Over a year ago, I left my full-time job in order to return to school. So, it’s important for me to be able to provide healthy and filling meals that won’t drain our wallets!
My husband and I currently live in Athens, Georgia with our (extra large) tabby cat, Phoebe. My husband is not a vegetarian by any means, and all of my recipes are approved by him! Though I do most of the cooking (because I love it!), he sometimes grills up a little extra protein with whatever I’m making. Even if you’re not vegetarian, I hope I can provide you with some different recipes to add to your back pocket.
