. Add green beans & water to a large saute pan. Cover and simmer until tender crisp, about 10 minutes. Drain water and set aside in serving dish.
. In a medium pan, melt butter. Add sugar, garlic salt, basil, and pepper; stir to combine. Add tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes or until soft and start to burst.
. Pour tomato mixture over green beans and toss gently to combine. Add additional salt and pepper if desired. Serve warm!
